Virtual Private Server

VPS is short for Virtual Private Server. What this means is a physical server (host machine) is virtualised into a few smaller virtual servers, i.e., a VPS. By clustering several host machines together, providing for high performance and high availability, this provides for the Cloud Hosting environment. Meaning the environment can be upgraded and scaled without interruption. We purchase extremely powerful servers and load them with RAM. This allows us to make sure your VPS has full access to the resources of the plan, meaning we do not over-sell the host server capacity. Additionally, our host servers are in a highly available environment so that your VPS will be automatically brought up on a different host server should the host server fail that it is running on.
